The A to Z of Nik!

So I got this idea from another blog, Georgia Mae, and I thought it would be fun to do. So here goes:

B. Bed size: Queen, but updating to a King now that we have 2 kids who want to be in it.
C. Chore that you hate: Washing dishes (hate with a passion!)
D. Dogs: Couldn't even imagine owning a dog now that I have two kids to look after.
E. Essential start to your day: Two words....CUBAN COFFEE.
F. Favorite color: To look at--orange or yellow, To wear--Green
G. Gold or Silver: Silver
H. Height: 5'9 barefoot! Most who know me through the internet are surprised to hear this.
I. Instruments you play: The flute in junior high school. Not sure I could actually still play though.
J. Job title: Wife & Mother--which is a full-time job with no days off, and overtime is always required.
K. Kids: Maxim and Cruz.

M. Mother’s name: Tessa
N. Nicknames: Niki (as a youngin'), and Nik
O. Overnight hospital stays: Only 2--I birthed 2 kiddos.

Q. Quote from a movie:
"Sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here." ~As Good As it Gets.
R. Right or left handed: Right-y

U. Underwear: boy shorts & bikini or none. lol
V. Vegetable you hate: Eggplant, that may be the only one. I luv veggies!
W. What makes you run late: Always having to drag a kid (now kidS) along with me.
X. X-Rays you’ve had: Dental?
Y. Yummy food that you make: I have lots, but I'm making this Garlic Jalapeno Tilapia dish on Friday that I LOVE.

  3. I can totally relate to W. I just had my 3rd child at the end of July. I don't recall how my hubbie and I managed with our 2 older boys, but it takes me darn near 4 hours to get my daughter and myself ready just so we can attempt to make events on time and I can still look good (flippin' shame; I have NEVER taken this long! ).

How do you manage to get your family ready and still look good? Anyone else have tips that could help reduce my 4 hour craziness?

    Thanks!

  5. I love this and you look gorgeous as usual! Gon' girl!!! Where'd you get the shoes??? I need those.
Ok, you're tall as hell! Well, I'm short as hell too. Anyway, lol'ed at W since I've been late every single morning this week to school and my mom's group. C,J and W are my favorite! The chore I hate is laundry.

  8. I'm still stunned that you're 5'9" barefoot! I always assumed you were shorter than me or the same height. I'm almost 5'4" when barefoot.

  9. Wow! You are right, I would have never figured you to be 5'9. Nice height.

  10. I love this post! I, too, am shocked that you are 5'9". For some reason, I thought you were petite, like maybe 5'2" or so! I'm 5'9" too! Tall girls rock ;-)

  11. Great post! I never would have guessed that you're 5' 9''. I have 3 kiddos and I know what you mean by having to take them with you and trying to get somewhere on time. I found that planning the day before helps. Making sure that they all have baths and clothes out and ironed the night before helps with timing. My twins typically spend there extra time arguing with eachother so my lateness involves solving disagreements. LOL!
