If you're reading this, there is a very big chance that you've probably seen my new header. Or is it banner? Either way, you get what I mean, I hope. I was little bored yesterday and decided to make a quick change. What do ya think? I've decided that I'm going to change my banner picture with each season--this one being autumn. I'm thinking it's a fun way to personalize the blog a bit more.

Previously, it was still showing me posts from Nikstarwashere even though I updated it by following your new lifeandstyle blog....
To see your posts I would have to search for your blog on google, then get here from there. Tedious!

Great job on the banner. I think it's an awesome idea. I would love to begin a blog but the banner has me beat and all of the other how to's of blogging. Can you tell me how you learned and/or which apps you used to create the banner? I have GIMP and indeed I am when it comes to trying to create banners and the like of the blog world. I have a lot to get out being a SAHM and all(who else do we talk to, LOL!) Hence I really need to get this out. Thanks and love ya hair, style life.
ReplyDelete^^^ I would say first off, get rid of GIMP. For me, it was just too all over the place. Go buy Photoshop Elements (the most recent version, I think is 10 off of eBay) buy a book on it off of Amazon to learn some basics, and you're set! I think I bought my elements off of eBay for about 30 bucks. As far as designing the blog, Blogger, is really easy to set up and then later slowly customize. Don't be afraid! It is pretty simple!
