It's officially autumn, and I'm unusually happy about it. Georgia doesn't usually get the memo until about the end of October, but surprisingly it has been fairly cool the past few days--especially in the evenings. My father-in-law happens to be in town, so me and the hubby decided to go catch a flick. It was total casual occasion, but I decided to spruce it up a bit with the shoes because I don't get out much. Like I mentioned before, because of the cooler air in the evening--I had to throw this old sweater of mine on.

By the way, to celebrate the new season I'm planning to go darker with the hair REAL SOON. I'm still deciding if I'm going to take it all the way back to black, or something else. As soon as I decide and the change is made, I will definitely post pics! I've also come to the conclusion that I will never bleach my hair again. It had definitely altered my texture slightly. Ah well.

ReplyDeleteI decided against bleaching my hair (even though I couldn't stick it through with being natural) because it had damaged my hair severely...even though I kept up with treatments. So now, I used semi-permanent colors after I cut it last year and my hair is still healthy. Your hair is beautiful by the way.

DeleteI use semi-permanent hair color all the time with no issues. That's why I had to bleach my hair to lighten it, because of the build up of semi-perm black dye over the years. So yes, I'm going to just go back to what I know. haha
You look great! I've been considering coloring my hair as the season has changed. My hair strands are so fine, I just don't want my texture to change. Amazing when my hair was relaxed I didn't care about anything other than the color I wanted. lol

Thanks Nia! I've lightened my hair in the past with no issues, but then went dark again. So I know this time when I relightened, some of it is an overlap of hair that had been lightened before. That's what causes the problems!

Thanks Britt!! I need to be more like you and leave my color alone for a while. Unfortunately, I get bored quick. All the lightening, darkening, then re-lightening has started causing some issues. I live and I learn, I guess.
